A greener setting for everyday living and a little practice
Artificial Turf & Putting Greens
Create a welcoming lawn, a place to practice your putting, or a landscape that brings both together. We design artificial turf and putting greens around your property, with the shape, surface and edges planned alongside the preparation and drainage beneath them.
Artificial turf and putting greens, in the landscape

A putting green with a view
A shaped putting surface, flagsticks and surrounding fringe create a dedicated practice area beside the terrace.

Putting green, lawn and pool connected
The putting green meets a longer lawn alongside the home, connecting golf practice with the pool and outdoor living areas.

Turf beside the terrace
The lawn follows the home’s terraces and steps, with stone edges defining the transition to paving and planting.

An open lawn framed by the garden
A broad area of turf provides an open center to the landscape, framed by planting, stone borders and garden features.

Choose the surface around how you will use it
A front lawn, a family gathering area, a pet-use space and a putting green have different priorities. We discuss appearance, texture, traffic, sun exposure and care before selecting the surface. We use TigerTurf products, with the specific product and installation scope identified for your project.
Design a putting green around your game
Tell us whether you want relaxed family play, a convenient place for daily practice, or both. We plan the green’s shape, putting distances, cup locations and surrounding fringe around the space available. Views from the house and room to move around the green are considered alongside the way you want to play.
Coordinate contours, cups and the surrounding fringe
The green’s contours and cup positions are established as part of the layout, with the selected putting surface and base preparation considered together. We discuss the amount of break you want and how the fringe will meet nearby lawn, paving or planting. Drainage and access for care are included in that planning.
Prepare a stable, well-drained base
The finished appearance begins below the turf. We coordinate removal of the existing surface, grading, suitable base material, compaction and the drainage route. Nearby paving and planters are considered at the same time so the lawn meets its surroundings at the intended elevation.
Make the seams and edges part of the layout
Roll direction, seam placement and perimeter details affect how the lawn reads from the house and patio. We plan the layout before cutting, then coordinate the edges with header boards, masonry, stepping stones or other specified borders. The goal is a consistent surface with clean transitions.
Plan for pets, planting and irrigation
For a pet-use area, cleaning access and drainage are part of the design conversation. Existing irrigation is reviewed so unused lawn zones can be addressed while nearby trees and planting continue to receive the water they need. Turf does not replace the drainage plan for the property.
Understand the care it still needs
Artificial turf removes routine mowing from the lawn-care list, but it still needs attention. Leaves and debris should be removed, spills and pet waste addressed, and brushing or other care performed as recommended for the selected product. We also discuss sun exposure and surface comfort when choosing where turf belongs.
Connect the lawn to the rest of the yard
A well-proportioned lawn can provide an open center to the landscape or a soft-looking contrast to stone and concrete. We coordinate its shape with paths, terraces, pool areas, trees and planting rather than treating it as a separate patch.
Begin with your property and a clear budget
Tell us what is not working about your existing lawn, or where you imagine a new putting green. We start with a complimentary site visit and detailed scope and budget, then develop the design after budget approval and a signed design-build Home Improvement Contract.
