Richard Lusk Landscape and Design uses the information described below to respond to inquiries, manage project conversations and operate this website. Contact info@richardlusk.com or call 800-808-7510 with privacy questions.
Project inquiries
When you inquire, we ask for your name, an email address or phone number (you may provide both), and your project city or ZIP code. Project type and a brief message are optional. We use this information to respond, discuss your project and manage follow-up. An inquiry does not sign you up for marketing.
Service providers
Vercel provides website hosting. Formspree processes inquiries and supports submission records and email notifications. Email providers process the resulting correspondence. These services may process technical information needed to operate, secure and deliver their services. Access to business records is restricted through the relevant provider accounts.
Optional advertising measurement
Advertising measurement stays off until you select “Allow ad measurement” in the notice at the bottom of the page, or enable advertising in Privacy choices. Ignoring the notice or selecting “No thanks” keeps advertising measurement off. Browsing and submitting a project inquiry do not require advertising permission.
With your permission, our configured advertising partners can receive website activity, including visits and accepted inquiries, to measure our advertising. X, Reddit and OpenAI are configured. Google Ads can be enabled when its conversion destination is configured; Meta/Instagram can be enabled after its automatic-collection settings are verified. Their pixels may use cookies, browser or device information and advertising identifiers to associate that activity with ads you have seen or clicked.
OpenAI’s pixel may also collect email addresses and phone numbers available on a page or entered into a form and use hashed versions to match activity with an account. Hashing converts contact details into a coded value; it does not make them anonymous. This matching is permitted only after you allow advertising measurement. Reddit’s automatic email/phone matching and page metadata collection are disabled in our current setup. Our own event messages do not include your name, message, project location or contact details; this is separate from OpenAI’s automatic matching.

Website analytics and campaign information
Google Analytics has a separate, optional choice in Privacy choices. Selecting “Allow ad measurement” does not also enable website analytics. General analytics events exclude inquiry names, contact details, messages and project locations. FAQ searches run in your browser; we do not send the typed search text to advertising platforms or include it in our analytics events.
When permitted, campaign information and supported advertising click identifiers can be associated with accepted inquiries. Only the origin of a recognized search or AI referral is retained by our attribution code; its page path and query are excluded. Google Ads receives advertising cookie and measurement consent only when you allow advertising; personalized advertising and enhanced conversions remain off. Our code does not send inquiry contact details to Google or Meta. Google Ads and Meta/Instagram are currently awaiting account configuration, while TikTok and LinkedIn remain inactive. We ask for a new advertising choice when the disclosed use expands.
Your choices
You can allow or reject optional analytics and advertising separately. Global Privacy Control disables advertising measurement. The form works without optional tracking. Changes apply to this browser; choices on another device or browser must be set there. Rejecting future tracking does not automatically remove records already processed by providers. Storage and retention
The site's campaign-attribution record, when permitted, expires after 30 days. Browser session storage is used for inquiry retry identifiers and duplicate-event prevention; inquiry form values are not stored there. A local privacy preference is retained until changed or cleared. If the advertising practices materially change, we may ask for a new choice before enabling the expanded use. Enabled measurement providers may also use their own cookies and storage, subject to their privacy practices and your choices.
We retain project inquiries and correspondence as needed to respond, manage project relationships and meet applicable obligations. Retention also depends on the settings of the service providers handling those records. Contact us with questions about a specific record or a deletion request.
Requests and applicable rights
Contact info@richardlusk.com to ask about access, correction or deletion of your information or to raise a privacy concern. We may need information sufficient to verify and respond to your request. Applicable rights and any exceptions depend on the law and the circumstances.
Security and external links
Appropriate access controls and technical safeguards help protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is risk-free. Links to Houzz and other external resources lead to services with their own privacy practices.
